European record!

The European Union registers a record for solar energy generation this summer according to a report generated by the group of Experts Ember Climate. The 27 countries have produced between the months of May and August 99.4 terawatt hours (TWh) of solar energy, which represents an increase of 22 terawatt hours compared to the same period in 2021.
This extra solar energy produced is equivalent to 29,000 million euros of gas imports, according to the calculations of the study.
