Evolution of electricity demand

Did you know that 45.1% of the electricity production in December in our country was renewable and 69.3% did not emit CO2 equivalent? In addition, the annual production of wind and photovoltaic energy exceeded that of 2021, setting all-time highs in both technologies.

The national electricity demand experienced a decrease of 6.7% in December compared to December 2022. In gross terms, a demand of 20,437 GWh is estimated, 7.2% lower than that of December 2021.
